Ascribe is please to announce that it will be presenting The Clinical Five IT healthcare systems at this year's E-Health Live '09 exhibition at Birmingham's ICC on November the 9th and 10th.

The Clinical Five are 5 IT systems identified by the Department of Health's Health Informatics Review in July 2008 that were cited as being key elements in developing a strategic approach to enabling better clinically-informed secondary care.

The 5 elements are:

1. a Patient Administration System (PAS) with integration with other systems and sophisticated reporting;
2. Order Communications (including pathology and radiology tests)
3. Scheduling (for beds, tests, theatres)
4. eDischarge letters with coding
5. ePrescribing
