Analysis and Design
Ascribe is a highly analytical and innovative company as our history demonstrates. Our Analysts and system architects have the skills, experience and the domain knowledge required to turn complex requirements into logical and straightforward designs with the minimum of overhead and fuss. Even if no software development is required, we can provide you with a clear and fresh process model enabling you to streamline and standardise your operations.

Software Development
Ascribe boasts four development teams that between them have immense technical experiance and skills ranging from machine code programming right through to the latest object based and database techniques. Our solutions therefore reflect the often differing requirements of the NHS.

Systems Engineering
The skills of our developers are matched by those of our system and field engineers. Whether we provide the hardware or not we can provide the knowledge and skills required to implement systems in the most effective way whilst paying close attention to issues such as confidentiality and security.

Software and Hardware Support
Our technical support staff work to the very high standards set out in our service level agreement with each customer.  Utilising the very latest in help desk technology underpinned by the company quality management system, our support service consistently over perform against customer targets.

Project Management
Highly skilled Project Managers partner each new implementation with regularly scheduled meetings that monitor and ensure compliance to contracts and provide advice for hardware and software upgrades.

Change Management
The rapid advances in information management and technology is precipitating major change in many organisations who now realise the need to address the re-engineering of current working practices and their associated flow of information.  Our staff have wide experience of using IM&T and process analysis techniques to improve patient care and organisational performance.

Training and Education
In addition to an excellent range of system and application training for users of our software products, we also now offer a suite of training and education programmes to support the new health informatics agenda particularly for clinical staff.  We are currently supporting the clinical governance agenda of many trusts via our pioneering 'Enabling Clinical Governance through Healthcare Informatics Programme'.  

Disaster Recovery & Facilities Management (FM)
Ascribe's solutions are generally installed locally however we provide both Hosting and Disaster Recovery services to several NHS Trusts both over NHSnet and dedicated links. Our DP staff keep a constant eye on the performance of the system, providing the regular reports agreed and ensure that scheduled downtime is minimised and where possible performed out of hours.
