Protechnic Exeter is best known for developing two solutions in particular:
ePEX is a modern integrated solution used in over 35 UK Trusts as a single, resilient, reliable, flexible solution and will provide all the interoperability standards to meet ICRS requirements. ePEX supports the latest initiatives including eCPA, Single Assessment, Mental Health MDS and boasts a rich care planning / pathways model. ePEX is supported from the company's Cambridge office and forms the basis for the Ascribe plc's Community and Mental Health Division.
The original Exeter System was created in the late 70's by a DHSS and IBM funded project. The system was designed around principles of flexibility; ease of use and compatibility with existing medical records and it had the ability to search free text and to do sophisticated analysis. The Exeter System is supported from the company's Cambridge office and forms part of Ascribe's Primary Care Division.
