Ascribe offers a range of Clinical Information Systems for Hospitals that include an Eye-unit Casualty module that enables clinicians to track patients within the unit; the system notes when they arrived, whether they have been triaged to assess any additional data e.g. allergies / current medications, and where they are currently. The system also enables the Eye-unit managers to track patient waiting times with reference to generating reports to track their level of efficiency in meeting the government target for waiting times of four hours.
The system enables clinicians to replace manually written casualty cards with a computer based comprehensive eye-unit record, that in line with all HICSS modules, feeds information into the hospital’s PMI and the patients Electronic Record.
