Senior Software Developers 
(Location: Bolton [4 posts] and Melbourne [3 posts] - Competitive salary + benefits)


As Ascribe's product portfolio continue to grow, the company is seeking to recruit additional Senior Software Developers.

Ascribe is committed to developing IT systems of the highest quality and the successful candidate will be responsible for our next generation of healthcare IT systems.

The role requires a close understanding of functional requirements, the production of design documents and technical specifications, and testing to ensure that our customers receive solutions that perform well.

The successful candidates will have experience of both JADE and .net, and will be comfortable with transferring functionality between these programming environments.

The position requires excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) as there will be a requirement to communicate with a wide range of technical and non-technical people at all management levels and they should also have the ability to carefully document their activities and specifications.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Good working knowledge of JADE & .net.
  • Experience of working with relational databases & nTier architectures.
  • Understanding of Agile Development Methodologies & Service Oriented Architecture.
  • At least 5 years recent experience of developing information systems.

Whilst not required, it would be advantageous if the candidate had in their background, a working experience of Healthcare IT systems.

Integration consultants
(Location: London and Southern England. Competitive salary + benefits)


Following recent growth in our healthcare integration business, WCI healthcare, the consulting division of Ascribe, is now seeking to recruit additional Integration Consultants to help support their expanding workload.

The successful candidates will be part of a capable and experienced team, that are leaders in their field.
The candidates will be expected to support or manage NHS Trust integration projects, working with multiple organisations and stakeholders, to deliver the integration aspects of a PAS deployment.

The role involves working closely with Trust technical and other staff to support integration design discussions and then through the full life-cycle of project delivery.

The position is a full time client facing role and requires excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) as well as strong project planning and management skills, and the ability to coordinate activities across the different stakeholders.

Qualification and Experience required:

  • Healthcare consulting and experience in deployment of integration solutions is highly desirable
  • Experience with HL7 V2 and commonly used healthcare integration technologies is highly desirable
  • Client facilitation and strong communication skills are essential
  • Project management skills highly desirable
  • Ability to travel and work onto client sites is essential
